Book Club Friday: Honest Illusions

Hello my pretty friends!
Happy Friday!

So I don't have to go work until 4:45 this afternoon.
Gross right!
I know.
I'm really not happy about it.
Today there are Extra Magic Hours at Epcot.  That means that anyone who is staying in a Disney hotel gets stay in the park 3 hours after it closes as opposed to those guests NOT staying in a Disney hotel who have to leave at 9pm.
The lines are shorter and.....um....yeah that's pretty much it.
Shorter wait times.
But I have to work until 1:30 in the AM.
Again, gross.

Anyway, on to what this post is really supposed to be about, one of my favorite days:

So this week I'm going to share a book that I have already read.
Actually I've read it like 100 times.
I love it.
Why am I sharing a book I have already read?
Well, see that book over on the right side of your screen?
Fall of Giants
I've wanted to read it FOREVER.
It's by Ken Follet and he is a brilliant author but all of his books are like 1,000 pages long.
Seriously.
(Ok actually it's only 797 but still WOAH, that's a lot)
Needless to say it's going to take me a tad longer to read this one than it normally would.
So...for the next few weeks I'll be reviewing books I've already read.

Ok so, this week I'm sharing:

Synopsis:

As the daughter of a world-renowned magician who is equally accomplished as a jewel thief, Roxy Nouvelle inherits her father's genius. Dashing escape artist Luke Callahan also possesses a gift for relieving the wealthy of their valuables. Brought up together, Roxy and Luke are partners first in illusion, then in crime, and finally in passion. But the shadow of his past stalks Luke, forcing him to vanish or see his loved one ruined. Years of hollow fame and lonely affluence pass before Roxy and Luke reunite to execute the most daring heist of their careers and to exact sweet revenge.

Like I said I've read this book about 100 times.
It is one that I love going back to because I love all the characters so much.
I mean come on...magicians AND jewel thieves? Yes please!
You will fall in love with Luke and want to be Roxy.
And you'll wish you lived in New Orleans.

If you don't have anything to do this week swing by your favorite bookstore and pick it up!
You'll love it.

Hope y'all have a great weekend and Happy Reading! :)
