Mad About Plaid

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday were spent on a Global Property Tour of Walt Disney World.

Guest Relations is the only role who gets to have a property tour.  We pretty much got paid to walk around, play a little bit, and listen to people talk about Disney World.

I got to see every little nook and cranny of Disney World.
Ok, not every nook and cranny, we actually didn't have time to see everything, Disney World is THAT big.

But we did see quite a lot and got some pretty cool tours of each of the Disney parks and the hotels.

Day 1 we saw most of the things around the Magic Kingdom park.

On top of the Contemporary Resort

That's the Big Kahuna, he protects the Polynesian Resort from the little menihonies (no idea how to spell that)

Mickey golf cart at the golf courses on property.  We have 4. (Golf courses I mean, not Mickey golf carts)

Day 2 we saw Downtown Disney, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and more hotels around those areas.

Sorry, don't have pictures from that day. (Picture fail.)

Day 3 was the day I was up ridiculously early because I had to be at work at 6:15.
However I have this thing where I set my alarm 30 minutes earlier then I actually have to be up. So that I can hit the snooze about 15 times before I actually have to get up.
The alarm was set for 4:30 (sick) and I my intention was to get up at 5 so I could be out the door by 5:30.
Only problem was after I hit snooze the last time I didn't get up. Instead I jerked awake at 5:30.
Oh yeah that's when I was supposed to be leaving my apartment!
Luckily I had showered the night before so I was able to throw on the first thing I found in my closet, put my hair in a pony tail, and put make up on in 12 minutes.  So I was out the door by 5:45 and at work by 6:00.
However, I did not get to drink my much needed coffee so I was NOT a happy camper for most of them morning.

After we got to work we were on our way to our last day of the tour.  Where we climbed a mountain (I almost died), played some mini golf, and listened to some awesome guest speakers.

So to finish up here are some photos from Day 3.

I'm at the very top of the mountain.

 It's the YETTI!! AHHH!!
We are totally not scared, we're far to sophisticated to be scared.

This is how we stay awake for guest speakers after being up at 5:30 in the morning.
We call it caffination.

Well that was our tour.
It really is amazing just how much encompasses the Disney family.
We are HUGE!

If you've never been definitely put it on your places I want to go list!
It is simply MAGICAL!

Hope you all have a fantablulous weekend!

  1. Clearly keeping the kids at home and doing Disney with other adults is the way to go! We did Magic Kingdom and Epcot with our four children last summer, and by the end of the vacation, nobody was talking to each other, it was that much work! You guys look like you're actually having fun. You're smiling!

I love hearing from anyone who stops by! Leave me some love and I will be sure to do the same! :)
